ABOUT
Chris Doyle is a pianist, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and composer.

Doyle comes from Mount Desert Island, Maine. He attended Berklee College of Music in Boston for Piano Performance and McGill University in Montreal for a Masters in Jazz Performance & Composition. He currently lives in The Netherlands and works primarily in Amsterdam and New York City.

In Amsterdam, he is a member of the experimental theater and arts collective Touki Delphine, synth-pop band Sheila and the Kit, the Kurdish Soul trio Meral Polat Trio, and the large electro-funk ensemble Eckhardt and the House. He also works with Dutch film director Gonzalo Fernandez and has made the music for his films 'La Isola', 'Colloseum', and 'Table # 6'.

In New York, Doyle composes and plays in the experimental trio Tczeebo with David Palazola and Aaron Rourk. He performs with a number of groups including but not limited to; Harvey Eyeballs, Rose Hips & Ships, Danny Fisher-Lochhead Large Ensemble, Holy Hand Grenade, Annika Zee and Viktor Longo. In 2019 he toured with Grammy-nominated Brooklyn Afrobeat band Antibalas, playing the music of Aretha Franklin.
Doyle is one half of the duo behind the psychedelic skit show, SPACEBAR. Together with Michael Wideburg, they write the script, create the sets, and perform, film, score and produce the episodes.
