ABOUT
Chris Doyle is an Amsterdam-based pianist, guitarist, composer, producer and songwriter.

Doyle is an Artistic Director of the interdisciplinary arts collective Touki Delphine and is the producer and guitarist/keyboardist in the Anatolian rock / Kurdish blues band Meral Polat. He is involved with many Netherlands-based projects including Ibelisse Guardia Ferragutti and Frank Rosaly's Mestizx, indy-rock band Awkward i, synth-pop band Sheila and the Kit, and composer Rik Elstgeest's various endeavors. Doyle composes music for theater and performing arts groups and works in film scoring, primarily with Dutch film director Gonzalo Fernandez.
Doyle comes from Mount Desert Island, Maine. He attended Berklee College of Music in Boston for Piano Performance and McGill University in Montreal for a Masters in Jazz Performance & Composition. Although he currently lives in The Netherlands he continues to work in the United States, primarily in New York City.

In New York, Doyle composes and plays in the experimental trio Tczeebo with David Palazola and Aaron Rourk. He is a frequent collaborator of a number of artists including the Grammy-nominated Brooklyn Afrobeat band Antibalas, Katherine Perkins band, Danny Fisher-Lochhead Large Ensemble, Annika Zee and Viktor Longo.

In 2019, Doyle released a solo piano album in collaboration with composer Danny Fisher-Lochhead entitled "Piano Songs 2" on Fishkill Records in Brooklyn, NY, and in 2023 his second solo piano record, "For Afie" was released on Excelsior Recordings in Amsterdam, NL.
Doyle is one half of the duo behind the psychedelic skit show, SPACEBAR. Together with Michael Wideburg, they write the script, create the sets, and perform, film, score and produce the episodes.
